Kindersley Transport Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., is currently looking for an Office Administrator to join their Saskatoon, SK location. The Office Administrator is responsible for assisting with all shortages, overages, and damages and scheduling delivery appointments on all inbound and outbound freight.

This position is Monday to Friday

Candidates who have knowledge of the transportation industry and a strong understanding of word and excel programs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange appointment times for all inbound shipments requiring same utilizing Centreline
  • Create and distribute daily appointment list and coordinate appointment times with dispatch and dock to ensure they are viable
  • Contact customers requiring appointments via phone, email, etc.
  • Ensure proper authority obtained prior to any purchasing
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Communicate with dock supervisors on all OS&D freight to resolve issues
  • File manifests daily

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the trucking industry
  • 50 WPM
  • Experience with Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
