Kindersley Transport Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., requires an Evening Dock Supervisor for their Regina, SK location, who will be responsible and accountable for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of trailers.

This position is 5 days a week, 3:00pm - 12:00am

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to a team of Dockworkers to ensure branch operational and safety goals are met
  • Ensure proper load temperatures are used on protected freight
  • Ensure the proper loading and unloading of freight
  • Monitor and maintain all schedules (departure time, arrival time, loading schedules, etc.)
  • Recruit, orientate, train, and supervise dockworkers
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in LTL freight transportation
  • Experience in cross dock operations
  • Good computer skills
  • Knowledge and experience in handling various kinds of freight
  • Supervisory skills
  • Management and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
